Only one package change for this release; [[https://packages.fedoraproject.org/pkgs/pykickstart/pykickstart/|pykickstart]] was updated to require a directory specification when using the [[https://pykickstart.readthedocs.io/en/latest/sections.html#chapter-10-certificate|%certificate]] section in kickstarts. 

The [[https://pykickstart.readthedocs.io/en/latest/sections.html#chapter-10-certificate|%certificate]] section is new to Fedora 42, and seems especially great for those running their own certificate authorities! 8-)

===== Extra Notes =====

This compose was my first introduction to pykickstart, despite my frequent usage of kickstarts themselves. It does provide the ksvalidator command (that I should make more use of), and the effort to make kickstart options more consistent is greatly appreciated.

The wiki notes it being the “glue” between Anaconda and system-config-kickstart (the GUI that enables the creation or modification of kickstarts), but I can’t seem to find any details about it that are newer than EL6:
